Coronavirus and Seymour Golf

Seymour’s priorities through this time are as follows:

    1. Keep Members and Staff and the greater community as safe as we can;
    2. Follow government orders and protocols;
    3. Provide facility access and services that align with points #1 and #2;
    4. Prepare in advance for various scenarios that might impact our Club;
    5. Communicate with Members and Staff as thoroughly as possible;
    6. Limit financial impacts on the Club, the Membership and our Staff.

Monday, March 30 @1:00 pm:  A Member email went out this morning.  The Board of Directors is meeting tonight, expect communication from them tomorrow.  Please do not come out to the course, even to walk. Our maintenance crews are stretched thin and are working twice as fast to get the critical maintenance done, and they don’t have time to watch out for walkers. Thanks.

Friday, March 27 @ 12:08 pm:  Members, an email was just sent out inviting you to join the Members Only Facebook Group.  Elana is the administrator, please email her if you need assistance:

Thursday, March 26 @11:36 am: Members, two emails went out this morning. The second email has the corrected email address for the Produce Delivery offered in the first email.  By the way, it’s pouring rain at the Club right now, so you wouldn’t have been out golfing today #alittlesolace

Tuesday, March 24 @6:30 am: Members, check your email for a message from the Board of Directors. Note: as of today and until further notice the COURSE is CLOSED to play. Flagsticks, tee markers, etc are removed.  See the email for information on the removal of some fees from your monthly billings, beginning in April.  All buildings are closed and entry is not allowed. Most staff are working from home, excluding the small teams of course maintenance staff who are doing critical work only.

Monday, March 23 @8:51 am:  Members, an email just went out.  COURSE CLOSED today. All BUILDINGS are closed, no contact with staff allowed.  Watch for a private Member Facebook page to be created today. We’ll send the link when ready.  Board Meeting tonight.

Sunday, March 22 @1:20 pm:  Members, you should have received an email yesterday and another this morning. Let me know if you missed either of them. Remember the golf course is CLOSED  to play tomorrow [Monday].

Friday, March 20 @6:26 am: Seymour Members, you should have received an update email yesterday afternoon. Email me if you haven’t received it.  Remember, there aren’t any washrooms available and all buildings and services are closed. If you come to the course, maintain at least 6 feet of distance from everyone else, don’t touch the flagsticks, do not cough or sneeze openly, and bring your own hand sanitizer. Do not congregate in the parking lot after your game. Keep all of us safe, and please observe a 12 foot distance from any staff you come across.

If you need to remove your clubs and take them home, please email Lenny at to arrange a time for pickup. They will be left outside the Pro Shop for you.

Tuesday, March 17 @11:20 am:  Seymour Members, you should have received an email this morning outlining facility closures. Please email Dave McNeilly if you didn’t receive it or have any questions about it:
