Seymour Golf Community Fund

Seymour raises and awards assistance and support funding each year, and also continues building a legacy foundation that will eventually be self-funding.

Member & Public Charitable Tournaments

Seymour regularly hosts and supports member and public charitable tournaments charitable tournaments that bring the community together around shared causes. These events provide a platform for local organizations to raise funds and awareness, while also creating opportunities for members, guests, and partners to get involved.

ALS Society of BC

ALS Society of BC

Head Golf Professional Dale Schienbein and his team support the ALS Society of BC, having raised over $600,000 through the annual PGA of BC Golf-A-Thon. They lead the province in funds raised through this event.

Seymour-Community-School Programs

School Programs

Since 1999, Seymour has introduced young players to golf through partnerships with North Shore elementary schools, offering early access in a supportive environment. The club also supports high school programs, helping develop athletes who have gone on to compete at amateur and university levels.

Environmental Stewardship

Seymour is home to diverse local wildlife and has prioritized environmental stewardship since becoming Canada’s first Audubon-certified golf course in 1992. Through responsible course management, the club supports a healthy ecosystem while maintaining a high-quality playing experience.

Seymour has decades of experience hosting tournaments, including recognized events like the North Shore Community Foundation Tournament. From corporate outings to large competitions, events are supported by experienced staff and played on a course maintained to the standards of top private clubs.

Seymour employs the North Shore's best, with a combined team of 150 full-time and seasonal staff. From operations to hospitality, the club provides a work environment built on consistency and respect.
