Where is Seymour Golf & Country Club located and how do I get there?
Seymour Golf & Country Club is at 3723 Mount Seymour Parkway, North Vancouver, BC, V7G 1C1. It is about a 20 minute drive from downtown Vancouver.
Can non-members play the course?
Yes. Non-members are welcome to play on Mondays, except statutory holidays. Public tee times can be booked online, and online requests are accepted up to seven days in advance starting at noon. You can also book by phone at 604-929-2611.
How do I book a tee time?
Public golfers book through the “Book a Public Tee Time” link found throughout the website. For help with the booking system, the Pro Shop staff can walk you through it.
What are the Pro Shop and course hours?
The Pro Shop is open while the course is open for play, and hours shift with the seasons. Summer hours are typically 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and fall and winter hours are typically 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Closing times may be extended when warranted. Current hours are posted on the website.
What is the dress code?
Golf attire is required on the course and practice areas. For men, tailored slacks or shorts and a golf shirt with a collar or tailored mock neck and sleeves are required, with caps worn brim forward. For women, collared tops, sleeveless collared tops, or sleeved tops, plus slacks, skorts, skirts, golf dresses, or tailored shorts are permitted. Denim, track or gym wear, tank tops, and regular tee shirts are not allowed on the course. Inside the clubhouse, nice jeans with no rips are acceptable, but caps are not.
What practice facilities are available?
Seymour offers a driving range and a short game practice area, both part of the golf course and open the same hours as the course, with some exceptions for maintenance and daylight. The range closes earlier on two evenings a week (Sunday and Wednesday) for ball collection and opens later two mornings a week (Monday and Thursday) for maintenance. Guests paying a green fee may use these areas when accompanied by a member.
Do you offer lessons and club fitting?
Yes. Seymour offers golf instruction through adult, teen, and junior programs led by the club's professionals. The Pro Shop also provides club fitting and equipment repairs. Details and bookings are available through the Pro Shop.
What membership categories are offered?
Seymour offers Full, Associate, Junior, and Social memberships, each with different playing privileges. For example, Full Members may play anytime with some scheduled exceptions, while Social Members may play a limited number of rounds on member days and after juniors on weekends and holidays. Membership inquiries can be directed to the Memberships office at 604-929-5491 ext 221 or through our website.
Can non-members dine at Seymour?
Yes. Non-members can dine on Mondays only, excluding statutory holidays. On all other days the clubhouse is reserved for members and their guests. You can make a reservation by contacting us at reservations@seymourgolf.com.
Where is the dining room and what is it like?
Dining is in the Grille Room, an expansive space with views over the golf course, plus a large deck that overlooks the course and west coast forest behind it. We offer a full premium bar and an extensive wine list.
What kind of food is served?
We serve West Coast and world-influenced cuisine. The menu spans shareable starters like truffle fries, wings, and dumplings, salads, burgers, and sandwiches. You’ll also find rice bowls and larger plates such as fish and chips, short rib tagliatelle, chicken parmesan, and a filet mignon with tiger prawns. Menu items and prices change seasonally, so check the current menu linked on the dining page.
Does the club host weddings, tournaments, and events?
Yes. The clubhouse hosts weddings, banquets, corporate meetings, and golf tournaments, with dining available in the Seymour Grille. For event inquiries, contact the Banquets, Tournaments & Weddings team at 604-929-5491 ext 226, or reach the club at sandy_d@seymourgolf.com.
