Intermediate Member - Seymour Golf

One of the biggest benefits for a Full or Associate Member at Seymour, outside of golfing, is the ability to enroll your children into the club's Intermediate program. At the age of 19 they can apply for Intermediate membership, as long as you are a Full or Associate Member.

Intermediate Member

One of the biggest benefits for a Full or Associate Member at Seymour, outside of golfing, is the ability to enroll your children into the club’s Intermediate program. At the age of 19 they can apply for Intermediate membership, as long as you are a Full or Associate Member.

Intermediate membership provides generous access to the course and tee-times, and many of the privileges of Full Membership, with the annual dues reduced substantially. The Initiation Fee paid will be only 50% of the current Full Membership fee, and an Intermediate Member may pay it over a twenty-one year term, if they begin at age 19.

At age 40, with their Initiation Fee paid, your child will be able to join Seymour as a Full Member and create their own legacy of outstanding golf and social experiences!

We also have a modified Intermediate program for university and college students.

Intermediate Member Application

Qualifications: Any person who applies by their nineteenth birthday and has been approved by the Board, subject to vacancies. The total number of Intermediate Members will be determined by the Board.

Rights: Full use of the Club facilities and may attend General Meetings of Members, but may not vote or hold office. Playing privileges of Intermediate Members will be determined by the Board. An Intermediate Member may, at any time up to their 40th birthday, apply for Full or Associate membership in the Club, upon the same basis as defined in the Club’s bylaws, except that no additional entry fee will be payable. Any person whose Intermediate membership has expired and who applied for Full or Associate membership before expiry, may be granted temporary playing privileges by the Board, pending the determination of his or her application.

ENTRANCE FEE: $30,000.00 plus GST $ 1,500.00 = $ 31,500.00

Entrance fee can be paid in equal installments to be complete by their 40th birthday.

STUDENT INTERMEDIATE:
Must provide proof of enrolment in a post-secondary institution, each year the intermediate is a student to remain in this category.

Playing Privileges

Intermediates may not ballot for play on Saturday, Sunday or Holidays, but are permitted to book tee times after the draw has been made or add their name to the singles list. They may book during prime time on Friday from 11:00am to 3:00pm on day of play only. They are also eligible to participate in events as approved by the Match Committee.

Student Intermediate

This membership category has the same playing privileges as Intermediate Members for the months of April 1st to September 30th. From October 1st to March 31st, these members have no access to the golf course, short practice area and driving range.

Waitlist Playing Privileges

Two games per month Monday – Friday (Subject to public play policies) Intermediates Waitlist members may not ballot for play but are permitted to book tee times after the draw has been made or add their name to the singles list for their two games per month (Mon-Fri) and cannot book during prime time Fri 11:00am-3:00pm. Intermediate Waitlist Members are eligible to participate in events as approved by the Match Committee.
