Growing up I only played about 7 or so rounds a year with my father. It wasn’t until my second year at Capilano University where I really became serious about the game of golf. Capilano University hadn’t had a golf team for a long time and they were just starting the program up again. Seymour Golf & Country Club was the home course with Dale Schienbein and Colin Lavers as the coaches! I decided to try out and was able to make the team. From then on I completely fell in love with the game and was out practicing and playing every day. After competing in amateur events for a few years I decided to turn Professional in 2015, where I continue to compete. I really enjoy watching my students’ reactions when they understand and hit better golf shots through my coaching.
